Partner Terms
- You earn 15% of what each customer you bring pays us in their first 12 months.
- A customer counts as yours if they open your link and sign up within 90 days.
- We pay monthly once you're owed ₹2,000 (or $25) or more, after a 30-day hold for refunds.
- Always tell people you earn a commission when you share your link.
The full terms below are what apply.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between you (the "partner") and Bananabytes ("we", "us"). You accept them when you tick the box and create your link on the partner page. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you join for a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.
2. Your link
We give you a unique link with your code, like bananabyts.com/?ref=YOURCODE. Your link and code are personal to you. Don't change the code, and don't share another partner's link as your own.
3. When a customer counts as yours
- The customer opens your link and signs up within 90 days on the same browser. If they use a different device or clear their browser, we may not be able to credit you.
- If the customer opened more than one partner's link, the first link they opened gets the credit.
- You can't earn on your own account, your own company, or customers who were already signed up with us before they opened your link.
- If a customer asks us to remove you, or we can't tell who referred them, our records decide.
4. What you earn
- You earn 15% of what the customer pays us during their first 12 months, counted from their first payment.
- "What they pay" means the amount we keep for our work, after refunds and discounts. It does not include GST or other taxes, or costs we pass on at what we pay, such as hosting, databases, email, domains and payment fees.
- If you also built a tool listed in Clinic Tools, you can't earn both the 25% creator share and this 15% on the same clinic. You get whichever is higher.
5. Payouts
- Each commission is held for 30 days after the customer's payment, in case of a refund or chargeback. A refunded payment earns no commission, and if we've already paid you for it we take it off your next payout.
- We pay once a month when the amount ready for payout is at least ₹2,000 for partners paid in India, or $25 for partners paid in the United States. Smaller amounts roll over to the next month.
- India: before your first payout we need your PAN and bank or UPI details, plus your GSTIN if you're registered. We deduct TDS as the law requires, and if you're GST-registered you invoice us with GST.
- United States: before your first payout we need a W-9 and your bank details. We send a 1099 when the yearly total requires it.
- You're responsible for your own taxes on what you earn.
6. How you can share your link
Share it with clients, followers, colleagues and friends, honestly and in your own words. You must:
- Say clearly that you earn a commission, such as "I earn a commission if you sign up". This is required by ASCI guidelines in India and by the FTC in the United States.
- Only promise what Bananabytes actually offers. Don't invent prices, discounts, results or deadlines.
You must not:
- Send spam, bulk messages or messages to people who didn't agree to hear from you, including on WhatsApp, SMS and email.
- Bid on search ads for "Bananabytes", "bananabyts" or similar words, or use them in your own domain names or social handles.
- Pretend to be Bananabytes, or suggest you work for us.
- Use fake accounts, cookie stuffing, bots or any trick to make it look like a customer came from you.
7. Our name and logo
You may use the Bananabytes name and banana logo only to point people to us through your link. You may not change them or use them in a way that suggests we endorse something else.
8. Personal data
We use the details you give us (your name, email, country and payout details) only to run the partner program, pay you and meet tax and legal requirements, following India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. We never tell you the full names or contact details of the customers you refer. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your details by writing to [email protected], though we keep payout and tax records for as long as the law requires.
9. Ending the partnership
- You can leave at any time by writing to [email protected]. We'll pay what you've already earned once it passes the 30-day hold and reaches the payout minimum.
- We can end your partnership with 30 days' notice for any reason, or straight away if you break these terms. If you break section 6, we may cancel commissions linked to that behaviour.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll email you at least 30 days before a change that reduces what you earn. Commissions you earned before a change are paid under the terms that applied when the customer paid.
11. Liability
You're an independent partner, not our employee or agent. We aren't responsible for what you say when you share your link. Apart from paying the commissions you've earned, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commissions paid or owed to you in the 12 months before a claim.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute. Please write to us first at [email protected]; most things can be sorted out quickly.
